Herbal Tea DREAM – Ingredints

Hops – Belong to the cannabis family, so they are naturally calming and make life more pleasant. They induce relaxation and sleep.

Chamomile – Supports the immune system, lipid metabolism, cognitive and mental health, positive mood, relaxation, and sleep.

Passionflower – This herb has an overall relaxing effect, and affects the quality of sleep. It can release stress, and plays an irreplaceable role in the treatment of nervous tension and insomnia. A clinical study confirmed the excellent effect of regular use of passionflower tea on the subjective improvement of sleep. In addition, passionflower extract contributes to faster sleep, and improves physical resistance to internal stress.

Valerian – Has sedative effects, and is found in most tea blends that are designed to solve sleep problems and depression. In folk medicine, valerian is administered regularly, and without side effects, for anxiety, depression, restlessness, stress, epilepsy, menstrual pain, headache, fatigue syndrome, abdominal pain, and for children with ADHD. The valeric, isovaleric, and probably sesquiterpenes from valerian root can bind to and specifically act on GABA receptors, from which a sedative, anticonvulsant, and analgesic effect can be deduced.

Honeybush – Also recommended folk medicine, with a positive effect on the activity of the central nervous system; it has proven invaluable in menstrual and premenstrual syndrome (it also alleviates menstrual cramps), in menopause, and in adjusting the menstrual cycle. Healers recommend honeybush to relieve the symptoms of skin diseases and eczema. Recently, there have been reports of testing honeybush ingredients and its possible use on skin problems related to excessive sun exposure, inflammatory diseases, and even skin aging. There appears to be an alleviating (relief) effect in acute and chronic problems, increasing the skin’s resistance, in particular to UV radiation and preventing wrinkles.

Lavender – Narrow-leaved lavender lowers blood pressure, induces mental well-being, and helps you relax and fall asleep faster.

Lemon balm – The famous physician and naturalist Paracelsus called lemon balm the elixir of life. He attributed soothing, anti-stress, and antidepressant effects to it. In his time, he observed the beneficial effect of the herb on insomnia and scattered psyche. It was administered in herbal mixtures to both pediatric patients and the elderly with nervousness and difficulty falling asleep.
