Herbal Tea CLEAR MIND – Ingredients
Eleutherococcus (Siberian Ginseng) – Pilot studies suggest that eleutherococcus may help improve memory function and mood in middle-aged people, bringing a general feeling of relief with it. In another study, the combination of eleutherococcus with rhodiola and schizandra helped to improve attention, as well as mental speed and accuracy in women undergoing mental stress. Many state health agencies have acknowledged eleutherococcus as having a relaxing effect on the psyche.
Gotu kola – Often used to treat fatigue, stress, anxiety, depression, psychiatric illnesses, including Alzheimer’s disease, to improve memory, mental performance, and to support logical thinking. Other folk healers recommend gotu kola for epilepsy, senility, and premature aging. It also seems to directly strengthen the activity of the adrenal glands, thereby helping fight stress and depression, it increases the libido, reduces the risk of collapse, improves the reflexes, and helps prevent coronary problems.
Rhodiola rosea – Positively affects the mood and state of consciousness. A study confirmed its beneficial effect on reducing depression, improving physical and mental condition, and reducing fatigue after four weeks of repeated use. A beneficial cosmetic effect was also observed in a clinical study which confirmed the effect on skin firmness and elasticity. The adaptogenic effect of Rhodiola rosea competes with ginseng, even though it doesn’t contain caffeine. It improves memory and increases alertness by increasing dopamine levels, increases the body’s immune response, and corrects blood plasma sugar levels.
Ginkgo Biloba – The greatest use of the ginkgo leaf is found in the medical sphere. The ingredients are able to dilate blood vessels in the brain, and prevent sudden strokes, myocardial infarction, and act against neurodegenerative processes in the brain associated with old age or loss of cognitive functions, such as confusion, memory problems, malaise, headache, fatigue, depressed moods, and poor concentration.
Tulsi (Sacred Basil) – Used to support appetite and fight gastrointestinal problems. Basil has significant antioxidant effects, through which it stimulates immunity, relieves stress, increases physical strength, and helps support the body’s own natural defences. Basil can be taken in a drink with honey to support a clear mind. Protects against radiation (sun, radiation, television, and computers). In Ayurvedic medicine, it’s considered the first and last choice herb.
Sage – Another study at the University of Bristol concluded that sage ingredients in a concentrated extract could help boost cognitive properties, especially in healthy people. This, and other stimulatory effects, were compared with caffeine extract obtained from tea or coffee, and it was concluded that both comparison groups share a similar effect.
Hibiscus – Contributes to the overall refreshment of the body.
